FIRST GRANTS AWARDED
The Ralph Braun Foundation closed the first grant application process on November 30th and the first grants were awarded on December 16th. The Grant Program targeted folks who had visited their mobility dealer and identified the mobility transportation equipment that would meet their needs. They had received a bid for the equipment (used or new) and had established most of the funding needed to acquire the product. During this first program The Ralph Braun Foundation funded up to 25% of the total mobility transportation equipment with a maximum per grant of $5,000. We were able to fund several projects through this cycle and each of the grantees was asked to send photographs and write a short story of what the grant has meant to them. We will be sharing stories here very soon.
The Foundation Board of Directors will take all of the suggestions from dealers and applicants who participated in this program and refine the process for the next cycle. Watch this website or our Facebook page for project sotries and information about the next grant cycle.
